SFWB Serving West Linn & Oregon CitySouth Fork Water Board is located on the eastern shore of the Willamette River in Clackamas County, in the City of Oregon City. South Fork has a staff of eight full time employees who are responsible for managing, maintaining and operating the water treatment plant, among other duties. The Management and Staff are committed to providing the highest level of service possible to our customers, as a whole and individually.
In addition to providing drinking water for the cities of Oregon City and West Linn, South Fork Water Board also:
- Wholesale Customers: Sells water to Clackamas River Water for their CRW- South (or the old Clairmont Water District) area.
- Water Rights: South Fork Water Board has five water rights on the Clackamas River and its tributaries. These are some of the most senior municipal rights on the river with the exception of a few small intervening rights held by the City of Gladstone.
- Water Quality/ Source Sampling: Meets and exceeds state and federal water quality and sampling requirements.
- Water Conservation Program: At the beginning of 2001 began implementing water conservation programs for both Cities.
Get involved by attending a South Fork Water Board meeting.
South Fork holds Board meetings, as needed, to conduct business on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:05pm at the South Fork Water Board treatment plant.
South Fork’s Citizens Advisory Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm at South Fork Water Board.
