Water Curtailment Alert
In response to low water levels in the Clackamas River, South Fork Water implemented Stage 2 curtailment measures on August 6, 2026. These measures are intended to help maintain adequate river flows for fish persistence while continuing to provide a reliable water supply for Oregon City and West Linn residents.To reduce water usage, South Fork Water and the cities of Oregon City and West Linn are taking measures like limiting landscape irrigation, suspending water line testing and flushing, and washing vehicles only at facilities that recycle their wash water.
To further assist in safeguarding fish habitat, Oregon City and West Linn residents are asked to limit landscape irrigation to the hours of 8pm to 8am until further notice.
This curtailment notice is not related to ongoing wildfires, and our drinking water systems remain safe and fully operational.
